Description
The magnetic trap is designed to remove metal impurities in vacuum, pneumatic, and free-fall materials in pipelines. It can withstand a pressure of up to 10 bar, but we can produce it for higher pressures on special request.
A big advantage is that it is light, easy to handle and clean. The installation is usually done with flanges, but it can be requested with a Dutcher or other connection method.
We manufacture the metal selector in two versions:
FIX – the magnetic bars cannot be pulled apart, they are therefore more durable, can be quickly replaced, and have a large magnetic force
RAZ – all magnetic bars can be pulled apart at the same time and cleaned with this tool, less force can be achieved on the magnetic bars
The metal separator is made entirely of stainless steel. The main part is the magnetic grid and the housing that accommodates it. The magnetic grid can be securely fastened to the housing with four screws. The magnetic grid is filled with very strong magnets to attract even 1 micron metal impurities. The magnetic bars form a labyrinth for the flowing material, thereby providing a strong magnetic field through which metal impurities cannot penetrate.
Cleaning the FIX version:
The grid can be removed after loosening the screws, and then remove the metal contamination with a rag. The grid can also be easily washed, as the magnets are hermetically sealed with stainless steel. After cleaning, put the grid back and tighten it with the screws.
Cleaning the RAZ version:
The grid can be removed after loosening the screws, and then by loosening the screw holding the magnetic charge, we can also pull the magnetic charge out of the grid. Take care of the magnetic charge so that it does not get damaged or get water. It is still worth wiping the grid here with a cloth. After that, we place the filling back into the grid, and it back into the house, and press it down.
