Description
The single-row fixed grid metal separator is designed for tight spaces, for well-flowing, gravity (free) falling materials. Perfect for protecting machines that process the material. The magnetic separator consists of two main parts, the housing and the magnetic grid. It is made entirely of stainless steel (AiSi 304), on request we can also make it of acid-resistant steel (AiSi 316L). The magnetic grid contains magnetic bars, the number of which depends on the size of the inlet pipe. The rods contain very strong neodymium magnets. Due to the gap between the bars, if the smaller pieces of metal fall directly onto the gap, they can pass through the separator. If this is a problem, we recommend multi-row metal selectors, where the pipeline is fully covered, so it is alwmost imposible that the metal impurityes pass through the metal separator.
The separator is available for different pipe sizes (squre, circle). We can adjust the size to the size of the given pipe, and we can also use other connection methods according to the customer’s needs.
Cleaning is simple and quick. After stopping the flow of material, after releasing the buckles, we take out the grid and use a rag to clean the bars towards the non-magnetic part. During cleaning, make sure not to touch the magnet to larger metal, as we and the grid may be damaged.
