Description
Our company has many years of experience in manufacturing metal pickers and measuring their magnetic strength. The measurements are carried out on site, which can be done in a short time, even outside of working days.
The strength of magnets decreases over time, this time varies depending on the type of magnet. Ferrite magnets actually have an eternal life, as they lose 1-2% of their strength every year, unless they are operated in the wrong conditions. Unlike ferrite, neodymium magnets are much stronger, but lose their strength faster (2-5% per year) and are more sensitive to high temperatures.
The strength of the magnets is measured with a tesla / gauss meter, which is sent to be calibrated every two years in order to have the most accurate measurement results possible. The value is given in Gauss and Tesla (1T = 10000G).
– In the case of holding / lifting magnets, we check their load capacity and condition, for which they receive a certificate
– Inspection of the efficiency of the magnetic selectors (we check the general condition of the selectors, provide a certificate confirming the measurements of the magnetic efficiency, or recommend repair or renovation in order to extend the life of the product)
– Repair and servicing of magnetic separators (can be done on-site or at our premises, we also undertake selectors from other manufacturers)
– Training for those working with our equipment
Advantages of monthly measurement:
– prevention of problems with operated equipment
– increasing production efficiency
– avoiding unwanted impurities in the final product
– avoiding serious and costly problems
– easily traceable magnet quality
