Description
The self-cleaning magnetic drum metal separator is one of the most effective ways to select metal impurities from liquids containing a large amount of metal particles. We recommend it mainly for cleaning emulsion, oil and water in metalworking plants. The separator is designed to trap larger metal impurities (e.g. metal shavings), but if you want to select even the smallest metal dust (e.g. grindstone dust) it is recommended to use it together with our FS-E product.
The liquid is duped at the back of the separator, where it is overflowing and goes under the magnetic drum, where it is separating the metal scrap from the liquid. The metal then been removed from the drum automaticly. The drum is rotated by a motor, which also rotates the metal particles. The metal particles are cleaned with a plate on the disc hook, from where they push each other and fall into a collecting tank. The liquid continues to flow under the magnetic drum either to our FS-E selector or, if it is sufficiently clean, to its container.
