Description
A semi-magnetic drum is a machine that automatically and permanently removes metal impurities from the desired material. It is not necessary to stop the flow of material to clean it, and a large capacity can be achieved. The selector is a perfect way to protect your machines (grinders, mills, shredders,…) from larger metal impurities (pieces of iron, nails, screws,…) that could damage them.
The selector is a durable stainless steel design with high wear resistance. The selector is available with or without housing. The main part is the semi-magnetic drum, which performs the metal separation, also available with ferrite or neodymium filling. The magnets attract the metal particles, and the rotating drum pulls them down and throws it out of the system.
The installation of the selector depends on whether with housing or non-housing version is selected. The non-housing will receive one bearing each, which must be screwed to a massive stand, and the motor must also be secured. In the case of the with house version, it can be suspended in the appropriate place or on chains, or it can also be installed using flanges in the case of closed systems.
It can be operated 24 hours a day. The motors require a three-phase power supply. You can observe the operation of the magnet through two removable doors.
It is also available in small, large, built-in, unbuilt, and semi-built versions. Size doesn’t matter. The biggest one we made so far was three meters long and half a meter in diameter.
