Description
The metal selector is designed for cone-shaped dispensers, where the goal is to select metal particles from freely falling materials (plastic, cereals, salt, spices, etc.). Recommended for injection molding machines, where the funnel is placed in the feeder, thereby protecting the machine against metal particles. They are available in any diameter and in other shapes (cube, ellipse, etc.). The grid can be used in several ways, mounted on the end of conveyor belts, built into a cube tube, etc.
Structure
Stainless steel tubes filled with very strong neodymium magnets form a cube, which can fit perfectly into the cone-shaped funnels. The grid can be single-row if you want a cheaper solution and we want to use them mainly to select larger metal impurities, or double-row, which filters even the finest metal dust from the material. The magnetic grids are also available in FIX and RAZ versions. The fix is more difficult to clean, but the magnets inside are much better protected, so it can also be used in liquids and acidic environments, unlike the RAZ version.
Cleaning
The stuck metal particles must be removed from the FIX magnet grid by hand. The magnet filling of the RAZ circular grid can be pulled out, during its removal the metal particles stuck to the stainless steel grid simply fall off all the bars at the same time.
